Ah, the endless debates on which system is viable. The Sidealists, The Vedics, the Tropicals, The Uranians, etc. I think we’re working with many elements in astrology and there are differing points of view as in every cosmology or philosophy. I’ve learned the archetypal language of Western Astrology that is fairly earth centered and seasonal, working with the Solstice points and the equinox points of a cyclical nature. My point of view certainly isn’t for everyone. If you resonate with what I say about Cancer, then perhaps it is valid for you. If you don’t, I have no grievance with you, nor ax to grind, nor a need to argue. But then, I’m a Pisces! I DO resonate with this sign, and would find it difficult to completely resonate with Aquarius as I’m much too mystical by nature. And I DO believe in relativity as did Einstein, another Pisces.

The problem with sign interpretations is that the planets are often in the previous sign from the solar year interpretation. There is over a 23 degree difference and in a few hundred more years every Cancerian will actually be a Leo. Western astrologers need to address this issue…

can’t wait for part III…after all these years w/ a cancer man, i still seem to say the wrong things. i don’t even know how to begin to make him feel safe and to trust me. he says he’ll never trust a woman. i am devoted to him and will never stray. he is so insightful and on the rare ocassions that he talks, i definitely listen. i am an airies…which by the way, i do wish you would give more insight into the airies personality as you have done with scorpio and cancer. thank you. i do enjoy reading and learning about all the different people in my life.

You’ll need to have your Natal Chart calculated. There’s a free service link here on my blog for you to go to. Of course, you’ll need reference books or an astrologer to interpret for you!
